The Monkey Flower Group

Like the genus Mimulus, The Monkey Flower Group’s arrangements are composed of a mixture of wild and cultivated species of local origin.

Designing with local plant materials is desirable for all the same reasons that eating local food is: a lighter carbon footprint, stronger communities, and fresher products.

But just as importantly, this use of local plant materials results in wonderfully unique arrangements, each a botanical portrait of a particular time and place.
